The 19th IEEE International Symposium on Multimedia (ISM2017) is an international forum for researchers to exchange information regarding advances in the state of the art and practice of multimedia computing, as well as to identify the emerging research topics and define the future of multimedia computing.
The IEEE ISM2017 organizing committee invites proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the symposium. The workshops aim to explore focused interest areas and provide international forums for scientists, engineers, and computer users to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, research results, and applications on hot topics of multimedia computing.
Workshop Proposal Guidelines
A workshop proposal should include:
- Workshop title
- A draft “Call for Papers” articulating scope and topics covered by the workshop
- The relationship and significance to the conference themes
- Program chair(s), and, if available, tentative program committee
- A one‐paragraph biographical sketch for each organizer, describing relevant qualifications, including research and conference/workshop organizing experience and the history of the workshop if being offered before.
All workshop proposals will be reviewed by the Workshop Co‐Chairs. Please submit proposals to the workshop co‐chairs via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Papers from workshops will be presented at IEEE ISM2017, and included in the Proceedings.
